Fairbanks Day 3
It was a quiet day in Fairbanks, Alaska. The highlight of the day was a visit to Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge on the north side of Fairbanks.
Creamer's DairyThe fields of the Dairy provide a refuge for migrating birds such as the Sandhill Crane and waterfowl. The fields are maintained to provide a habitat and food source for the birds.
Canola FieldWhile most of the Sandhill Cranes continue further north after stopping at Creamer's Field they do have a few that hang around all summer.
